Ambientados en torno al París de la época e hilados por la aparición recurrente de personajes comunes de distinta importancia según cada cuento, ofrecen una visión libre de las relaciones humanas, en la que el erotismo y el ansia de placer no excluyen ni la belleza ni el sentimiento, ni la amistad ni la búsqueda de la autenticidad.
